The design connects a covered alfresco and pool area directly to the kitchen and living zones, creating a natural flow from inside to out. Orientation, sun access and shelter from the prevailing winds were all considered carefully to keep the space comfortable through every season.

The covered alfresco structure is designed to complement the home’s roofline and materials, making it feel like an original part of the build rather than an afterthought. Paving, garden beds and pool surrounds were selected with the coastal climate in mind — durable enough to handle salt air and summer heat while remaining low maintenance for a busy family.
