ArchIdea Group began in 1998 as a side hustle, sparked by Gennadi’s passion for architecture. Over two decades later, we’ve evolved into a respected firm known for our personalised approach to every project. Specialising in top-notch residential design across various scales, we take pride in connecting with our clients, understanding their unique visions, and transforming their dream spaces into reality. Based in Victoria, we extend our expertise across multiple regions, delivering exceptional architectural solutions to clients throughout Australia.

Meet Gennadi

Gennadi brings over 30 years of architecture and construction experience. His passion lies in reorganising and shaping spaces to improve how people live.

As Director, he oversees projects from concept through construction, ensuring designs are practical, buildable, and delivered with integrity. Clients value his foresight, technical skill, and calm approach to complex projects, whether a bespoke home or a small-scale development.

Outside work, you might find him enjoying a glass of wine, James Bond movies, or painting with pastels.

Meet Ekaterina

Ekaterina leads the design direction of the studio, specialising in high-end residential projects, from bespoke renovations to new homes. She guides clients through complex decisions with clarity and empathy, ensuring designs reflect both vision and lifestyle.

Educated in Eastern Europe and holding a Master of Architecture from RMIT University, Ekaterina became a registered architect with the Architects Registration Board of Victoria in 2023. She balances creative design with structured decision-making, helping clients feel confident and supported from early concept to move-in day.

When not working, she’s exploring architectural ideas, participating in design competitions, or unwinding with yoga (if Coal hasn’t claimed the mat first).

Meet Coal

Coal is emotional health officer and a German Shorthaired Pointer.

Just like my colleagues, I love connecting with everyone. My job? Bringing joy with my wagging tail and I’m right here to offer a friendly paw and cheerful company.

Outside of my work duties, I love runs, fetch, and belly rubs.
